An Unforgettable Stay at The Atlantis the Palm in Dubai

Recently, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at The Atlantis the Palm in Dubai, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, setting the tone for an unforgettable vacation.

Luxury and Convenience with American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts Collection

One of the perks of our stay at Atlantis the Palm was the room upgrade and included complimentary Imperial Club access we received, thanks to booking through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts Collection. The Club serves daily complimentary breakfast from 7am-11am, tea and snacks from 3-5pm, and happy hour from 5-7pm. They usually had live entertainment during the evening happy hour as well. You can also utilize a more private and streamlined check in and out procedure in the Club This added touch of luxury allowed us to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting, away from the hustle and bustle of the resort.

A Haven for Families: The Kids Club

Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but The Atlantis the Palm made it a breeze. The Atlantis Explorer's Club for kids ages 4-12 has 3 daily sessions from 9a-12p, 1p-5p, and 6p-10p. This provided a safe and engaging environment for our boys to enjoy while giving us time to enjoy the resort and have a dinner date night. With a variety of activities, games, and even educational programs, our children were entertained and wanted to spend as much time as possible at the club.

They also have The Zone for teenagers ages 13-17 with a similar schedule. While our boys are too young for this area, I'd imagine it would be just as engaging for teens.

Thrills and Adventure at Aquaventure Waterpark

No visit to The Atlantis the Palm would be complete without a day at the renowned Aquaventure Waterpark. This thrilling attraction offers an array of water slides, lazy rivers, and even a private beach. We spent hours of fun and laughter, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Admission to the waterpark is complimentary with your stay at The Atlantis and with tickets costing around $84/person, this adds immense value to your stay at The Atlantis!

This waterpark currently holds the record for most waterslides in a park and you 100% should take a day to visit when you are in Dubai. They offer complimentary Aqua Socks to all guests, so your feet don't burn on the hot sidewalks and have various amenities and food stations available throughout the park. It really is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The waterslides are truly one of a kind and despite visiting in August when the heat is pretty much unbearable, we truly had a blast. You definitely needed to be in the water to survive the day, and we will definitely visit Dubai in a milder weather month next time, but nevertheless, we truly had a blast at Aquaventure!

A Delicious Start to the Day: Free Breakfast

One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast offered by the resort. Each morning, we indulged in a sumptuous spread of international cuisine. Truly the breakfast buffets were out of this world at the Atlantis. We ate breakfast at Saffron our first morning and Kaleidoscope our second morning. Both were incredibly impressive with everything from Indian, to Chinese, to meats, to omelets, to waffle bars and pastries. Seriously impressive! The variety and quality of the food ensured that we started our days off on a delicious note and honestly kept us full until complimentary afternoon tea and snacks in the Imperial Club.

The Room

Our room was luxurious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The property is obviously well cared for and the housekeeping staff are meticulous in their work!

We stayed in an Imperial Club Queen Room with an Ocean view. The view was gorgeous and made you feel like you were on a tropical island and not actually in a desert city. There was a small balcony, but due to the heat, we didn't utilize it. The room has a really cool feature where you can see from the bathroom to the ocean if you open the slider between the bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom was gorgeous with a soaker tub and beautiful shower. The toilet has it's own private little room which is helpful for a family of 4!

We had 2 queen beds and they were very comfortable with a small seating area, kind of a half couch. There was a desk and workspace, tv and dresser, mini bar, and closet. There is plenty of storage space and honestly everything about the room just screamed comfort and luxury!

The Verdict

Would we stay again? Absolutely, 100%, without a doubt! In fact, I can't imagine any future trip to Dubai without a two night stay at The Atlantis the Palm?

Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. From the complimentary lounge access and the exceptional Kids Club to the thrilling Aquaventure Waterpark and the delectable free breakfast, every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. With its diverse range of restaurants, shops, and activities, The Atlantis the Palm truly offers a world of possibilities.
